PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive auto-propelled sulky seed potato planting machine having such advantages that only a potato-seeding work is enough to have to be made directly by hand, ridging, fertilizer application, soil covering, etc., can also be made, works necessary for planting seed potatoes can be performed consistently and consecutively, both traveling stability and straight advancement are easy to assure, thus enabling being devoted on seed potato sowing work and attaining mitigating labor burden and improving planting efficiency. SOLUTION: The auto-propelled sulky seed potato planting machine has the following construction: A traveling body 7 is installed in a crawler type on a vehicle body 2. The front portion of the vehicle body 2 is mounted with a travel driving engine 9 and a transmission 10. A seed potato-sowing opening 6 is provided at a rear portion off the proximity of the center of the vehicle body 2. A ridging instrument 26 is supported near the transverse center of the vehicle body 2 and set facing on the seed potato-sowing opening 6. A fertilizer tank 21 with a discharge pipe 20 is installed at the center of the vehicle body 21 and the port of the discharge pipe 20 is set near the ridging instrument 26. A steering seat 31 is installed on the rear portion of the vehicle body 2.
