<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological image data collecting apparatus capable of calculating recognition accuracy easily by reducing mistakes on entering biological image data and also capable of improving the reliability of the calculated recognition precision. <P>SOLUTION: Feature data is extracted from biological image data of a subject detected at a biological data sensor 1. A comparing means 4 then compares the feature data of the subject and a newly entered biological image data of the same subject to obtain a matching value.
