PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate with a light-shielding image which is thin and has high light-shielding performance and low reflectance, when observed in an observer side, to provide a photosensitive resin composition and a transfer material for obtaining the substrate, and to provide a color filter and a display apparatus that uses the color filter.

SOLUTION: The substrate with a light-shielding image comprises a substrate and a light-shielding image for at least a part of at least one surface of the substrate. The light-shielding image comprises at least two layers of resin layers, wherein at least one layer of the resin layers is a light reflecting layer, and at least one layer in the resin layers is a light-absorbing layer.
