PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the data-side driving circuit of a flat plate display device, capable of switching and outputting a gradation voltage and a fixed-gradation voltage corresponding to a video data signal, using a simple configuration. SOLUTION: In a data driver 4, wherein video data DA which are fetched to a data register 12 and indicate gradation are latched by a data latch 13 and converted by a D/A converter 15 into a gradation voltage to be outputted, the data latch 13 has resetting function and outputs a previously circuit-designed desired fixed-gradation data signal FDA, in response to input of a reset signal RP.
