PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component package unit which is less in the number of components than heretofore and can easily deal with the requirements for changing the shape. SOLUTION: In the optical component package unit 1, a bare component 2 in which an optical fiber is connected to an optical component body is housed in a case 3, with resin filled in a gap inside the case. The package unit 1 is characterized in that the bare component arranged in the center inside the case is embedded in a moisture resistant first resin, that an elastic second resin is placed on both sides of the first resin, and that a plurality of filling holes 6 are drilled in the case.
