METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COOLING BEAD FILLER FOR TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method of bead filler for a tire capable of reducing the warpage of the bead filler bonded in a ring shape on its outer peripheral side and capable of always molding the bead filler into a stable shape, and a cooling apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: An inclined part 21f gradually becoming large in its outer diameter from one end side of a roller part 21 to the other end side thereof is provided to the ring-shaped member 21e of the outer peripheral surface 20a of each cooling roller 20 and one surface or the other surface in the thickness direction of the bead filler BF comes into contact with the outer peripheral surface 20a of each cooling roller 20 while the bead filler BF is wound around each cooling roller 20 so that the other end part in the height direction of the bead filler BF is positioned on the side of the other end part in the axial direction of the roller part 21. Accordingly, the bead filler BF is cooled so that the peripheral length on the side of the height direction of the bead filler BF wound around the cooling roller 20 becomes a shape longer than one end part side of the bead filler BF preliminarily and the warpage of the bead filler BF on its outer peripheral side is reduced when the bead filler BF is bonded in a ring shape.
