PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration deadening type enclosure whose vibration deadening performance can be increased, and which can suppress noise and vibration and can attain severe driving conditions which have been required in recent years. SOLUTION: This enclosure 9 for covering a component weak in vibration such as an electronic component, and at least a part 8 of the enclosure 9 is composed of a twin crystal type vibration absorbing alloy. Preferably, the twin crystal type vibration absorbing alloy composing at least a part 8 of the enclosure 9 is composed from either of a Cu-Al-Mn alloy, an Mg-Zr alloy, an Mn-Cu alloy, an Mn-Cu-Ni-Fe alloy, a Cu-Al-Ni alloy, a Ti-Ni alloy, an Al-Zn alloy, a Cu-Zn-Al alloy, an Mg alloy, a Cu-Al-Co alloy, a Cu-Al-Mn-Ni alloy, a Cu-Al-Mn-Co alloy, a Cu-Si alloy, an Fe-Mn-Si alloy, an Fe-Ni-Co-Ti alloy, an Fe-Ni-C alloy, an Fe-Cr-Ni-Mn-Si-Co alloy or an Ni-Al alloy.
