PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing low alkali water glass whose production process is simple, and which has a sufficient bonding force, is sufficiently made into high concentration and low alkali. SOLUTION: In the producing method, water glass G is concentrated and the concentrations of alkalis are lowered by subjecting the water glass to electrodialysis 10 and membrane separation 4, and then the concentrations of the alkalis in the water glass are further lowered by using a cation exchange resin.
