PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a longitudinal guide for a car seat which is easily manufactured, easy to slide and hardly slipped off. SOLUTION: The longitudinal guide for the car seat has a surrounding rail (20) and a surrounded rail (50). Rolls are arranged between the rails, and a longitudinal groove (72) is arbitrarily formed between the rails (20, 50). A first transverse surrounding area (68) and a second transverse surrounding area (70) opposite to the first transverse surrounding area on the diagonal line are provided. The surrounding rail (20) constitutes an outer grip around the surrounded rail (50). The rolls (73-75) are arranged in each surrounding area, and guide grooves (76-78) for arranging the rolls (73-75) are formed between the rails of the surrounding areas (68, 70).
