PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high-strength steel sheet having excellent pattern-proof gnawing resistance of the tensile strength of≥780 MPa without sacrificing ductility. SOLUTION: When manufacturing a high-strength cold-rolled steel sheet by performing hot rolling, pickling, cold rolling and annealing of steel stocks, the rolling in the final pass is performed with the draft of≥8μm by using a work roll of the arithmetic mean surface roughness Ra of≥2.0μm in the cold rolling before the annealing. The temper rolling of the elongation of≤0.5% may be performed by using a work roll of the arithmetic mean surface roughness Ra of≥1.0μm after the annealing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
