A liquid treatment filter (180, 1400) comprising a chamber (210, 211, 1407) for housing a filter material, an inlet (205, 1402) to control the flow of liquid through the filter and an outlet (200, 1401, 1502). The liquid treatment filter further comprises an inner dividing wall or insert configured to deflect the flow of liquid between the inlet and outlet. The internal flow deflection means is configured to extend the contact time between the liquid and filter material providing a compact filter cartridge. |
