The method involves molding all-sides of join partner (1), and aligning join partners (1, 2), such that they overlap each other in a connection zone at a lap joint. The join partner (1) with recess is grouted with the join partner (2) having recess, such that the material of the partner (2) penetrates into the recess of the partner (1) to produce a fixed connection between the join partners by an adhesive bond and/or form fit. An independent claim is also included for a component produced by connecting two join partners in an area of a lap joint formed between the join partners.
