The equipment has an instrument (13) e.g. recorder, that is connected with a marking unit (7) to mark a cutaneous cut on a patient`s body. An ascertaining device (11) is connected with a marking unit (6) to ascertain a location of characteristic parts of the body. A data processing system is programmed in such a way that it displays the characteristics of the cut and a processing tip of the instrument in relation to the location.
