<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which make it possible to apparently confirm the compeletion of connection of a male member with a female member. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint comprises three parts including the male member 1, the female member 21 and confirmation member 31. The confirmation member comprises a pair of elastic legs 33 which are mounted such as to stride over the cylindrical body 2 of the male member. Sensing pieces 35 which bend to extend to the leading edge of the elastic legs in the direction of the female are extendedly mounted. The male member is provided with a protruded wall 9 against which the opening edge of the cylindrical body 22 of the female member collides to the cylindrical body. While a convex groove 10 is formed to the section facing the protyuded wall, the first restricting face 13 which abuts the front face of the elastic legs or sensing pieces, the second restricting face which abuts its back face of the same and the third restricting face which abuts its upper face are provided to the concave groove or in proximity to it. The sensing pieces is removably engaged into the concave groove of the protruded wall while the operation edge of the sensing pieces extends in the direction of the female member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
