摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery enhancing safety against danger derived from internal short circuit and overcharge. <P>SOLUTION: In the lithium ion secondary battery equipped with a positive electrode comprising a composite lithium oxide, a negative electrode, a separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode has a porous film containing inorganic oxide fillers and a binder on the surface facing the other electrode, and the surface of the electrode partially has a projecting part. The projecting part may be a projecting part installed in the porous film itself, or may be a projecting part formed by installing the projecting part in a mix layer.
