METHOD FOR PREPARING HYBRIDOMA PRODUCING ANTIBODY RECOGNIZING THREE DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE OF CELLULAR MEMBRANE PROTEIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a hybridoma producing an antibody recognizing the three dimensional structure of a cellular membrane protein.

SOLUTION: This method for preparing a monoclonal antibody specific to a target protein is characterized by comprising steps of mixing a group of lymphocytes obtained by immunity by using the target protein as an antigen with myeloma cells showing the protein on the surface of the cells; selectively approaching the lymphocytes showing a membrane-binding type monoclonal antibody specific to the protein in the lymphocyte group towards the myeloma cells through a specific binding of the membrane-binding type antibody with the membrane protein existing on the surface of the myeloma cells; and fusing both cells.
