<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor having a hinge mechanism capable of smoothly changing a tilt angle of a cam plate. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge mechanism 19 guiding the change of the tilt angle of the cam plate 18 has a lug plate side guide face 46a of convex surface shape provided at a lug plate 17, and a cam plate side guide face 22a of convex surface shape provided at the cam plate 18. An axis Q of the lug plate side guide face 46a and an axis P of the cam plate side guide face 22a are respectively orthogonal to an imaginary plane determined by an axis L of a driving shaft 16 and a position TDC corresponding to the top dead center of the cam plate 18. The tilt angle change of the cam plate 18 is guided from a minimum tilt angle to a maximum tilt angle by allowing the cam plate side guide face 22a to abut on the lug plate side guide face 46a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
