<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system of sheet camber and a sheet camber detecting device by which the amount of sheet camber is quantitatively controlled. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with the sheet camber detecting devices 2, 3 which are provided between an inlet-side table roller 13 and an outlet-side table roller 14, a detecting circuit 4 of the amount of pickup for measuring the dimension ( the amount of pickup ) between the top surface of the lower work roll 10 and the top surface of the inlet side table roller and a rolling mill 1 with which the sheet camber is controlled by controlling the amount Xi of pickup. In the rolling mill, the amount of pickup is set every rolling pass of a rolled stock 20, thickness on the inlet side of the rolled stock, thickness and the position of threading height on the outlet side are measured, the camberΔh of the rolled stock which is rolled is determined from the difference between the preset amount of pickup and the position of threading height on the outlet side and the preset value of the amount of pickup is controlled so that the determined camber becomes not more than the prescribed range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
