<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp device which stands long use without causing easy dropping-out of a base from a coupler even in a severe environmental condition while making the base and the coupler detachable and attachable. <P>SOLUTION: This discharge lamp device comprises: a bulb 10 formed of a translucent material while sealing a discharge gas in the inner part, and having a bottomed cylindrical cavity part 11; the base 13 internally communicating with the cavity part 11 to support and fix the bulb 10 at one end side, and having an annular part 130 protruding to the inside surface and an L-shaped sectional projection part 131 protruding from the annular part 130 to the other end at the other end side; and the coupler 2 including a coil 20 for generating a high frequency electromagnetic field within the bulb 10 to excite the discharge gas, a core 21, a heat conductor 22, an insert part 2a insertable to and drawable from the cavity part 11 from the one end side, and a fitting part 2b formed of a metallic material continuously with the other end of the insert part 2a, and having a groove 240 which is formed on the opposed to the annular part 130, and fitted to the projection part 131 by rotation of the base 13 when inserting the insert part 2a to the cavity part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
