<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet repeater, packet repeating method, and packet repeating program with which a load on the transmission destination of route information can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A packet repeating method includes the steps of: deciding priority of a route information packet 40a which is a repeating target, as a first priority or a second priority lower than the first priority on the basis of a predetermined criterion when the route information packet 40a or the like is received; storing the route information packet 40a in a primary queue when the priority is decided to be the first priority (high) or storing the route information packet 40a in a secondary queue when the priority is decided to be the second priority (low); and immediately transmitting the route information packet 40a stored in the primary queue to the provider edge router 20<SB>1</SB>of a transmission destination, or transmitting the route information packet 40a stored in the secondary queue in a timing not to exert any adverse effect upon processing by the provider edge router 20<SB>1</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
