<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure confidentiality in the communication between an Internet terminal and a home gateway device, and to perform home network remote operation and home network remote management system by simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: The home network remote management system comprises a home network including network connection equipment, a home gateway device 101 connected to the home network, an Internet terminal 108 connected to the home gateway device via the Internet 106, and an ASP server 107 connected to the Internet 106.
