PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia processor which can compress and store rotated images without having additional large amounts of frame memory. SOLUTION: First, image data transmitted from the outside is compressed and stored. After the stored compressed data is decompressed, it is sequentially stored into a main memory in a host system through FIFO.
