PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ointment for preventing nostril pollinosis which neither has an uncomfortable feeling and troublesomeness to a mask and glasses for preventing pollens nor has side effects by a drug, and can easily be used, and a stick ointment for preventing nostril pollinosis. SOLUTION: The ointment for preventing nostril pollinosis comprises a vegetable oil selected from sesame oil, perilla oil and a vegetable oil equivalent to these oils or an animal oil such as horse oil and furthermore methylsulfanylmethane and is rendered nearly solid, and the stick ointment for preventing nostril pollinosis is obtained by rendering the above nearly solid ointment into a stick having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the nostrils so as to be easily inserted thereinto. This ointment forms an oil film layer on the mucous membrane, and furthermore acts to cover pollens with the oil film so as for the antigen not to come out due to bursting of the pollens, and even when the antigen attaches to the mucous membrane, the reactivity of the mucous cells is reduced to alleviate the state of the disease as such by the methylsulfanylmethane included in the ointment.
