PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily and accurately realizing operation control of carrying vehicles loaded with cargos. SOLUTION: This physical distribution managing method has a step 41 for dividing a plurality of cargos collected to a departure spot into groups and for loading the cargos on separate carrying vehicles, a step 42 for making each of carrying vehicles travel to a target spot appointed per a carrying vehicle, a step 43 for obtaining shape information of loading attitude of the cargo loaded on the carrying vehicle passing through check points in each of the check points provided on a carrying route connecting between the departure spot and each of target points to each other so that any of carrying vehicles departed from the departure spot passes through at least two check points, and steps 48 and 50 for detecting moving route of each of the carrying vehicles by comparing the shape information obtained in each of the check points and specifying the carrying vehicle passed through each of the check points.
