PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an RC high-rise building without using a beam as a supporting member of a tower crane. SOLUTION: This construction method comprises a step 51 for constructing a peripheral skeleton in a crane installation division while supporting the tower crane 1 at first height in a lower end part of a mast 3 and constructing a column constituting the crane installation division up to second height above the first height, steps 52, 53 for supporting the tower crane 1 on a top part of the column in a section different from the lower end part of the mast 3 through a load transmission member 41, a step 54 for pulling up the lower end part of the mast 3 to third height in an intermediate section between the first height and the second height, a step 55 for constructing a support structure capable of supporting the tower crane 1 at at least third height in the crane installation division, and a step 56 for supporting the tower crane 1 on the support structure at third height in the lower end part of the mast 3.
