PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector connecting a plurality of lifting cord terminals to the terminals of the operating cords fixed to the bottom rail of a sunlight blocking device which can diversify aesthetic appearance. SOLUTION: This connector comprises an outer tube member and a cord connection member fitted into the outer tube member. A vertically communicating lifting cord passing hole and an upwardly convergent tapered hole are formed in the outer tube member. The upper surface outer diameter of the cord connection member is formed smaller than the upper inner diameter of the tapered hole and the center part outer diameter thereof is formed larger than the upper part inner diameter of the tapered hole and smaller than the lower inner diameter thereof. An upper radial groove allowing the lifting cord to come therein but not allowing its knot to come therein is formed in the upper surface of the cord connection member, a lower radial groove allowing the operating cord to come therein but not allowing its knot to come therein is formed in the lower surface, and slits communicating with the upper and lower radial grooves and allowing the lifting cord and the knot of the operating cord to come therein are formed in the peripheral surface thereof.
