PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight structure and a fireproof structure superior in durability with a simple structure, against an upper part of a folding door composed of two doors of a different width dimension. SOLUTION: This upper airtight structure of the folding door is composed of a large door 1 and a small door 2; and is composed of a first airtight member 6 installed in a door tip side part of a door frame upper frame and brought into close contact with an upper end part of a door tip side half part of the large door 1 when closing the folding door, a second airtight member 17 installed in an upper end part of a door end side half part of the large door 1 and brought into close contact with the door frame upper frame when closing the folding door and a third airtight member 18 installed over the substantially total length of an upper end part of the small door 2 and brought into close contact with the door frame upper frame when closing the folding door. A door end side end part of the first airtight member 16 and a door tip side end part of the second airtight member 17, and a door end side end part of the second airtight member 17 and a door tip side end part of the third airtight member 18 respectively overlap with each other.
