PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solves the problems that conventional barrier-free cutlery is expensive because a grip section is made of a material such as a shape memory polymer for fitting a user and stainless steel made cutlery used by pressing and bending a grip section cannot be used by a handicapped person because it cannot provide a sufficient contact area to the hand and the fingers and the freedom of twisting and bending work is low. SOLUTION: The grip section (1-3) is made of a soft plastic material and can be shaped into a simple shape with a high freedom. Furthermore, the shape of the grip section (1-3) has a shape primarily comprising a flat part in order to solve the problems. Thus, the grip section can be freely plastic-worked, e.g., being twisted or bent. For example, the grip section is shaped into a U-shape to increase the contact area of the hand and the fingers with the grip section (1-3) when the grip section is gripped. Because a metallic soft-plastic material composed primarily of tin is used as the soft plastic material, appropriate plastic workability and sterilization performance are enhanced, and decent and beautiful gloss is obtained.
