PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observing system for observation of a specimen in an isolator without anxiety of corrosion of magnification observation apparatus such as a microscope, etc., caused by sterilizing gas, and securely performing sterilization in the isolator. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the observing system comprising the magnification observation device 4 provided with a camera 11 and a monitor 13 on the outside of the isolator 2, and an observing window 21 formed on a photographing position of camera. An operator wearing a half suit 3 holds an observing container 6 and puts it on the observation window after the container containing the specimen is brought in the isolator. An image photographed by the camera through the observing window is displayed on the monitor in front of the operator and the operator operates an elevator machine to move the position of the camera for focusing and magnification of the image. The anxiety of corrosion of the magnification observing device caused by sterilizing gas is removed and the sterilization in the isolator is securely performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
