PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal-trapping device capable of being easily installed without requiring the digging of ground on installing the animal trapping device. SOLUTION: This animal-trapping device is provided by having a device main part 5 and an operating member 100, engaging a rotary piece 106b-1 in the operating member 100 with an opening part 16 of a cylindrical part 10 and an opening part 26 of a cap part 20 in a state of contracting a coil spring 80 on the device main body 5 and maintaining the coil spring 80 at its contracted state. Upon stepping of the animal on a step plate 108, the engagement of the rotary piece 106b-1 is released, the coil spring 80 recovers and the loop-formed part 50 contracts. In the case of using the cylindrical part 10 in a side direction, the operating member 100 is also used, and by using an operating member for using the cylindrical part 10 in the vertical direction, it is possible to use the cylindrical part 10 also in the vertical direction.
