Disclosed is a booster pump capable of efficiently pressurizing a fluid without heating it. Also disclosed is a storage tank for low-temperature fluids comprising such a booster pump. The booster pump comprises a piston having a piston head and a piston rod and a cylinder having a pressurization chamber wherein the piston head is housed and the fluid is compressed by one end face of the piston head. The booster pump is characterized in that the piston head is provided with a bellows separating the space in the pressurization chamber into a piston rod side subspace and a cylinder side subspace.
