<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel which can prevent a bad effect on bearing raceway surfaces resulting from attachment of a sealing member and can replace the sealing member alone and can attach and detach the sealing member to inspect a bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing device for the wheel has an outer member 1 with a plurality of rows of raceway surfaces 1a on an inner peripheral, an inner member 2 with raceway surfaces 2a facing against the raceway surfaces 1a and a plurality of rows of rolling elements 3. The sealing means 8 is provided at an end part of an in-board side between the outer member 1 and the inner member 2. The sealing member 8 consists of an annular slinger 9 for sealing slide-contact attached to either the inner member 2 or the outer member 1 and a sealing 10 with a core metal 11 attached to the other member. The slinger 9 is detachably attached to one of the members with a fixture 13 and the sealing 10 also is detachably attached to the other member with a fixture 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
