<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annunciator and a method preventing trouble such as window projection during traveling, simultaneously preventing erroneous recognition of power source OFF and capable of accurately reporting a power source position. <P>SOLUTION: The annunciator for power source position is provided with a power source position display lamp for reporting the power source position of the vehicle or a start switch display lamp (lighting means) and is provided with an operation detection means for detecting operation of an engine; and a shift position detection means for detecting a shift position. When the engine is operated and it is detected that the shift position is in a range other than P range or N range, intensity of illumination of the power source position display lamp or the start switch display lamp is reduced than the other case when the power source position is made same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
