<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a load of an operator by efficiently managing image forming apparatuses on the assumption of a plurality of image forming apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: In a step 1311, whether or not recovery print should be started is decided. Time required for re-printing a printed matter due to generation of an error is calculated by multiplying the present number of errors (namely, the number to be re-printed) by print processing time at one time when print is performed before. Next, the remaining time of off-line processing is calculated by multiplying the number for the remaining processing in the off-line processing under execution at present by processing time per unit of the off-line processing. Print time for all the errors is compared with the remaining time of the off-line processing, if the print time for the errors is shorter, it is determined that the recovery print should be started and on the contrary, the print time is longer, it is determined that the recovery print should not be started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
