<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of attaining a fixing operation with less energy consumption by analyzing front-side printing data and rear-side printing data before an image forming operation in the case a both-side printing mode is set, and by replacing an image forming sequence of front-side image data and rear-side image data so that it may become optimum in a printing process of the image forming apparatus, also, capable of attaining a stable image of high image quality and rapidity. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus capable of printing on both sides of a paper includes a printing data detection part 14 for detecting the printing data at the time of printing on both sides, a printing sequence determination part 15 for determining the sequence of the printing data to be printed on the front and rear sides of the paper. The printing data to be printed on the front and rear sides of the paper are analyzed by the printing data detection part 14, then, the printing data to be fixed first is prescribed, and the printing sequence is determined by printing sequence determination part 15 so that the printing data prescribed by the printing data detection part may be printed first and the other printing data may be printed later. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
