<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag device for which the generation of twisting on a connecting band which connects a curtain airbag and a guide member is prevented from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: When an inflator 3 is actuated, the curtain airbag 1 develops downward. The rear section of the developing curtain airbag 1 is guided to a guide rod 5 through the connecting band 7. The curtain airbag 1 is folded into a zig-zag shape along a folding back line L in the horizontal direction. For the connecting band 7 extended from the lower edge of the curtain airbag 1, the proximal end is located on the cabin internal side of the curtain airbag folded body. The connecting band 7 is wound around the guide rod 5 by being extended toward the guide rod 5 without being wound under the lower side of the folded body of the curtain airbag 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
