<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material for electric parts, capable of forming cross-linked carbon nanotube film that can practically be used on the electric parts formed by coating or printing and provide a method for forming coating film by using the coating material for electric parts. <P>SOLUTION: This coating material includes at least functional group-bearing carbon nanotubes and a cross-linking agent that can cross-link between the functional groups by thermal cross-linking reaction. The cross-linking agent of this coating material is characteristically glycerol and/or butanetriol.
