<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tightening device for a sphygmometer by simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The tightening device 2 for the sphygmometer comprises an actuator 21 provided with an EPAM which can be expanded and contracted by applying a voltage and an electrode provided so as to apply the voltage to the elastomer or polymer, and a curler 22 to be deformed so as to tighten a part of a living body corresponding to the expansion and contraction of the EPAM. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
