PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure an interface between specified liquids in the plurality of liquids stored in a container. SOLUTION: The first light of the first wavelengthλ<SB>a</SB>belonging to a light absorption wavelength band peculiar to a serum 30a, and the second and third lights of the second and third wavelengthsλ<SB>b</SB>,λ<SB>c</SB>not belonging to the light absorption wavelength band peculiar to the serum 30a are projected to a photoreception part 11b via a blood collecting tube 20a. An absorbance differenceΔABabs between the first and second lights, and an absorbance differenceΔBCabs between the second and third lights are found, using absorbances Aabs, Babs, Cabs of the first-third lights received by the photoreception part 11b, the absorbance difference between the first and second lights is corrected to remove an influence due to scattering in a bar code label 40 and a separation agent 30b from the absorbance difference between the first and second lights, using the absorbance difference between the second and third lights, and the first-third wavelengths, and an absorbanceΔSabs based on absorption in the serum 30a is found thereby.
