PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device performing precise operation under the open loop control and a control method of the driving device. SOLUTION: According to a control signal output from a drive control part 10, a predetermined driving signal is output from a driver 11 to operate a driving source 15. When the control operation of the drive control part 10 is ended, a vibration control part 12 generates a drive control signal to drive the driving source forward and backward alternately during a fixed period of time. Thus, the driving source 15 causes micro-vibration. The force in the direction of the driving force due to micro-vibration of the driving source is added to the driving force restrained by load such as frictional force to remain without operation to the end, and when the force in the driving direction becomes larger than the load such as friction, the operating part is moved for a distance corresponding to the residual driving force.
