PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new flavone derivative having anti-inflammatory action, its pharmacologically acceptable salts, and their producing methods and their production intermediate. SOLUTION: A method for producing flavone derivative represented by formula (I) [wherein R<SP>1a</SP>, R<SP>1b</SP>, R<SP>1c</SP>, R<SP>1d</SP>, R<SP>1e</SP>are individually independent and show each H, hydroxy, a 1-6C straight chain or branched alkyl group or a halogen atom], a production intermediate, and a method for producing the intermediate are provided. In addition, a new compound represented by formula (I) (wherein R<SP>1c</SP>is OH, R<SP>1a</SP>, R<SP>1b</SP>, R<SP>1d</SP>and R<SP>1e</SP>are each H and the saccharide part is D-mannose and their pharmacologically acceptable salts are removed) and a medicinal composition that includes the same and is useful as an anti-inflammatory agent are provided.
