PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid processing agent for processing a silver halide color photographic sensitive material excellent in suitability to input at high temperature and high humidity, and a processing method for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material using the same. SOLUTION: The solid processing agent for processing a silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains a sulfinic acid derivative represented by a general formula (I): RSO<SB>2</SB>M and at least one compound selected from compounds represented by general formulae (A-1), (A-2) and (A-3), dichloroisocyanuric acid, trichloroisocyanuric acid, 1-bromo-3-chloro-5,5'-dimethylhydantoin, 1,3-bis(hydroxymethyl)-5,5'-dimethylhydantoin and 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol.
