PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor which can produce sharp electrophotographic images, by improving the wear resistance of the organic photoreceptor and preventing blurred images and degraded dot images due to ozone and nitrogen oxides adsorbed on the organic photoreceptor, and to provide a processing cartridge and an image forming device that uses this organic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: For this organic photoreceptor having at least a photosensitive layer on a conductive support, the surface layer of this organic photoreceptor has a hydrophobicity of 50 or higher, a hydrophobicity distribution of 25 or lower, and an average primary particle size of 3-150 nm.
