PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation drum type settled sand classifier capable of removing foreign matters by washing settled sand, discharging the settled sand after washing in the state of uniform particle size and a specified moisture content or less and reusing the settled sand and gravel as recycled resource. SOLUTION: A rotation drum 1 which has a sieving function and is formed of a conveyance plate 11 on the inner peripheral surface and helical screw vanes 12 on the outer peripheral surface respectively is rotatably disposed in a fixation drum 2. The moisture content of the conveyed settled sand is reduced and dried by exhausting air in the rotation drum 1 and the washed settled sand having a particle size smaller than the sieve width of the rotation drum 1 is separated to the outside of the rotation drum 1 and is conveyed by the helical screw vanes 12. At the same time, gravel and sediment conveyed by the conveyance plate 11 are sorted and discharged by utilizing their differences in specific gravity according to air flow near the outlet of the rotation drum 1.
