PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout of a driving circuit which suppresses an increase of a head substrate area in an inkjet recording head by a driving system that applies a predetermined current to a heater. SOLUTION: A plurality of recording elements whose number becomes greatly larger and a plurality of switching elements are arranged in a longitudinal direction of a head substrate. A plurality of terminals for inputting a driving signal and a control signal used for driving the plurality of recording elements are set at a position opposed to the arrangement of the plurality of recording elements at an end part of the substrate and in the longitudinal direction of the substrate.
