PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply and drain unit for a washing machine capable of facilitating piping construction to provide satisfactory appearance after construction and ensuring a wide effective space of a washing machine installation place. SOLUTION: This water supply and drain unit 1 for the washing machine installed on a floor face side apart from the washing machine has a receiving plate body 10 and a lid body 20 covering the receiving plate body 10. A first hole 11 provided with a drain trap 30 and a second hole 12 provided with a water tap 40 connected with a water pipe under a floor are provided in the receiving plate body 10. A third hole 23 in which a connection means 33 for connecting the drain trap 30 with a drain means of the washing machine is inserted and a fourth hole 24 in which the water tap 40 is inserted are provided in the lid body 20.
