PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment usable as a shawl hard to lose shape. SOLUTION: The garment is made of fabric and provided with a shoulder insertion hole through which both arms in back hands are passed to make both shoulder parts put therethrough. The garment is structured by attaching a base material to the fabric along the opening periphery of the shoulder insertion hole so that the base material inhibits expansion and contraction of the fabric at the shoulder insertion hole part. The base material and the fabric are simultaneously cut to form the shoulder insertion hole. The outer peripheral shape of the fabric is formed into an almost circular shape and the fabric is cut into an almost elliptic shape whose center point comprises the center of the almost circular shape to form the shoulder insertion hole.
