PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composite nonwoven fabric that is suitable for uses such as padding, wipers, etc., has high density in spite of being thin, excellent softness, a soft feeling, excellent repulsion, high strength and excellent surface resistance and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The composite nonwoven fabric is obtained by three-dimensionally and integrally interlacing a fiber sheet that consists essentially of extra fine fibers having≤10μm fiber diameters and is formed by wet papermaking method on one side of a tricot having <30 g/m<SP>2</SP>surface density by a water flow.
