PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a device for injecting powdery and granular materials by securing a desired flowing speed even on the downstream side of branch tubes by action of an accelerating valve, to simplify the control of a discharging device, or the like, for powdery and granular materials by reducing the number of piping for transporting gas without changing the number of lances or increasing the number of lances without changing the number of piping for transporting gas, and to easily increase the injecting amount of the powdery anf granular materials. SOLUTION: In the subject apparatus for injecting the powdery and granular materials into a furnace through two-branched tubes 9 connected with the piping 1 for transporting the gas for transporting the powdery and granular materials to the furnace of a blast furnace or an industrial furnace, or the like, the accelerating valve 2 connected with the inlet ends of the two-branched tubes 9 is provided and this valve 2 is composed of an inner tube 3, a slit 4 formed on the whole periphery at the outlet end of the inner tube 3 and an air chamber 6 formed with the inner tube 3 and an outer tube 5 fixed at interval to the outer periphery of the inner tube. The slit 4 is formed in a conical shape toward two-branched tubes 9 side and the air for acceleration is spouted in a conical shape in the two-branched tubes 9 through the slit 4 from the air chamber 6.
