<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send email to a customer's email address to report even a single ID number mismatch that could occur during financial transactions performed by operation of an automatic teller machine through the use of an authentication medium, thereby enabling the customer to discover the unauthorized use of his or her authentication medium quickly and properly deal with it to prevent an increase in the amount of money lost by the unauthorized use, while quickly and precisely discovering and identifying the person who has used the medium in an unauthorized manner. <P>SOLUTION: This unauthorized trading reporting system includes an automatic teller machine having an authentication medium handling part for handling an authentication medium storing a customer's information and a customer-operated part for inputting an ID number; a host computer connected to the automatic teller machine for collating the ID number inputted and sending email to the customer's email address to report, if any, an ID number mismatch; and an information processing terminal having a display part for displaying the email and operated by the customer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
